Capture and save

How do I use a reference?

Open “Выбрать позу” (Choose a pose). Choose a catalog photo or add your own in “Мои” (Mine). Tap “Применить” (Apply), align the person with the outline and tap the white shutter button.

What are permissions for?

Camera access is used to take photos. The system photo picker gives the app only the image you select. Permission to save photos lets the app add images to Photos; it does not give access to your entire library.

Manage permissions in iPhone Settings → PhotoHelper. Permission to save is requested when you take a photo.

What appears in the saved photo?

Photos receives a clean image without outlines, grids or arrows. The “Фото” (Photo) button in the app opens your latest shot. Tap “Разбор” (Review) to compare it with the reference selected when the photo was taken.

Light is a guide

Automatic light estimation uses image brightness. It does not identify the exact position of a lamp in space. Compare the guide with your reference and check the light and shadows on the person. You can adjust the direction manually.

Deletion and backups

Open a photo in “Мои референсы” (My references) and tap the trash button. The original in Photos and the separate reference copy attached to the latest shot remain. Delete saved photos separately in Photos.

The personal reference library is excluded from system backups. Keep your originals in Photos.
